You cycle slightly downhill through the impressive Danube landscape and discover the legendary Wachau. And then Vienna - a firework display of sights! A city that can hardly be described, that you simply have to experience! During a city tour by bike, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the town hall or the Ferris wheel are within reach. At the Naschmarkt, a stroll through the market becomes a culinary experience. You can relax in the cozy coffee houses and typical Heurigen in the suburbs. The highlights of the tour: the Schlögener Danube loop, the Wachau and the cosmopolitan city of Vienna with its numerous sights.
A fuel surcharge of up to 8% of the package tour price may be levied on this bike and boat tour. The final amount will be determined and communicated 20–30 days before departure. Payment is due directly upon boarding the ship. This policy is in accordance with §651f of the German Civil Code (BGB) and serves to adjust for current fuel costs from our service partners.

Austrian border. Departure to Engelhartszell at around 19:00 p.m., arrival around 21:00 p.m.
The Engelhartszell Abbey is worth a visit, known for its beautifully renovated church and its healing herbal schnapps. Cycle downstream along the former towpath. A special treat is a ride on the nutshell-sized ferry (approx. €7 per person) through the Schlögener Loop. From Brandstatt, you can take a boat to Linz and then on to Tulln. Tip: Discover Linz on the bright yellow City Express.
The Klosterneuburg Monastery is located just outside the gates of Vienna. The dome of the 900-year-old baroque building can be seen from afar, and the "Verdun Altar" is one of the highlights of medieval goldsmithing. From the Heurigen village of Kahlenbergerdorf, it is worth taking a short hike through the vineyards to the viewing terrace of the Kahlenberg. You will be rewarded with a wonderful view of the metropolis.
Today, the sights of the Danube metropolis are on your agenda: Perhaps St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Hofburg, the magnificent Ringstrasse boulevard with the Burgtheater, the State Opera, and City Hall? There are countless possibilities. However, make sure you leave enough time for a stroll or visit one of Vienna's famous cafés. At night, your ship sails to Krems in the Wachau.
Look forward to a cycling tour through one of Europe's most beautiful river landscapes. The gently rolling hills of the Wachau, with its picturesque villages, manicured vineyards, venerable castles, monasteries, and romantic ruins, will enchant you. In Dürnstein, the blue Baroque tower of the abbey church greets you from afar. Finally, in Melk, the magnificent Benedictine abbey towers over the Danube – a place steeped in history, culture, and impressive architecture. Enjoy this day with all your senses; it is one of the highlights of the trip.
This stage takes you through charming river meadows with sweeping views and charming little villages. The wild Strudengau region is scenically charming – once feared by sailors, today an impressive river gorge with wooded slopes and rocky banks. In the idyllic town of Grein, the Greinburg Castle, imposingly towering over the Danube, awaits you. You can discover Austria's oldest residential castle on a guided tour.
The vast plains of the Machland region will accompany you, with their lush fields and quiet paths. In the Celtic village of Mitterkirchen, you can immerse yourself in a bygone era. Upon arrival in Mauthausen, a visit to the concentration camp memorial is a great opportunity for quiet remembrance and historical responsibility. In the evening, a celebratory farewell dinner awaits you on board. The boat cruise to Passau will take place at night.
Once again, you can enjoy the first rays of sunshine on deck and the peaceful morning silence of the Danube Valley. You will reach Passau around 10:00 am. Afterwards, you will disembark and travel home individually.

A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere awaits you on board the premium ship MS SE-MANON. After your bike tour, it is up to you whether you want to use the small, inviting wellness area with sauna, whirlpool and fitness equipment, retreat to the library or relax in the panoramic lounge. The restaurant with panoramic views will take care of your physical well-being. You can enjoy the view on the spacious sun deck, where the bikes are also stored. A special highlight is the outdoor pool (8,70 mx 4,50 m, approx. May to August, weather dependent) at the stern of the ship.
All 74 cabins are outside cabins for 2 people, approximately 14 m² in size and comfortably furnished with hotel beds. They all have a shower/toilet* (*cabins no. 306, 307, 308, 309 with bathtub), hairdryer, TV, safe, house telephone and individually adjustable air conditioning. An elevator connects the middle deck with the lobby and the restaurant. The upper and sun decks can be reached by stair lift. The main deck can only be reached by stairs.
Upper deck: Cabins with French balconies (floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened). Middle deck: The large panoramic windows can be opened. Main deck: The small windows (approx. 40 cm high) cannot be opened.

Bringing your own bicycle: Due to limited space on the sun deck, bringing your own bicycle is only possible upon request and subject to availability. E-bikes are only permitted with removable batteries. We exclude all liability for loss, theft, or damage – this also applies to damage incurred during transport from the ship to shore and back.
Schedule and program changes are always possible. If, for example, a section of the route cannot be navigated due to low or high water levels or bad weather, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety (this is not grounds for a free cancellation). The same applies to lock and/or bridge repairs ordered by authorities and not announced in advance.
Other information: Please bear in mind that your riverboat is both your "holiday hotel" and a working vessel that moves using engine power and requires constant operation, including at night (sometimes involving lock and bridge passages). We recommend that particularly noise-sensitive guests bring earplugs. Disturbances should always be expected when passing through locks.
