The MS Primadonna is the second-largest cruise ship on the Danube. Experience the elegance of the MS Primadonna with spacious decks, a wellness area, a restaurant, a bar, an atrium, and much more on a cycling holiday without having to change hotels! The Primadonna awaits you daily at the end of your cycling tour. You can also spend your days comfortably on board – whether on the open deck with a whirlpool or in the wellness area with a whirlpool, sauna, and Kneipp pool. In the kitchen, we pay special attention to the use of regional, Austrian products – all dishes are freshly prepared on board. The MS Primadonna is the only cruise ship to sail under the Austrian flag.
Individual arrival in Passau. Your vacation begins with embarkation at 14:30 p.m. Transfer from the parking lot/Passau Central Station to the ship is available at approximately 16:30 p.m. The ship's crew invites you to a welcome dinner at approximately 18: p.m. A boat trip to Passau's Old Town will allow you to explore the city on your own (depending on water levels).
After handing over the rental bikes, the tour continues through the uninhabited narrow valley near Kaiserau to the baroque market of Aschach and to Linz.
Visit the Tulln State Garden Show independently (+ €12, bookable on board). Cycle past the foothills of the Vienna Woods to Vienna. After lunch on board, you can choose between a self-guided city tour by bike (+ 18 km), a city tour of Vienna by bus (2 hours/optional), or a guided bike tour (3 hours). You can visit a "Heuriger" (wine tavern) near the boat station on your own.
The Danube Cycle Path from Komárno (Fortress, Europe Square) takes you past the Roman fort of Kelemantia to Štúrovo. If you wish, you can visit the cathedral in Esztergom on your own. In the evening, your ship will take you to the magnificently illuminated Danube metropolis of Budapest.
Optionally, you can explore the most beautiful sights by bus (3 hours). Your bike tour takes you through the city center on car-free bike paths. For an active version, you can add a bike tour to the artists' town of Szentendre (55 km round trip).
Optionally, you can take a guided city tour (1 hour). After lunch on board, you'll visit the Meulensteen Cultural Island (independent tour of the gallery). You'll return to the ship the same way, with refreshment options available.
Today's bike tour runs from Krems (UNESCO World Heritage Site) via Dürnstein through the Wachau past Melk, with its impressive abbey, to Marbach.
Disembarkation by 10:00 a.m. Bus transfer from the ship to the parking lot or Passau Central Station, and individual departure.

MS Primadonna
With a beam of over 17 meters, the only Danube catamaran is far ahead of other river cruise ships in terms of spaciousness and impression of space. There's no cramped aisles, and the social areas – from the restaurant to the bar – are exceptionally spacious. In the 60-meter-long and 8-meter-wide atrium, you can meet in a cozy atmosphere. In the Danube Arena, between the two hulls, you can gaze through a 9-meter-high glass front at the waves of the Nibelungenstrom, which literally flows beneath your feet. At the reception, a glass floor with lighting offers a glimpse into the underwater world.
The spacious facilities – the hotel lobby is a full 60 meters long – include the panoramic restaurant 'Primo Gusto' and the panoramic bar 'Primavera', the Danube Arena 'Prima Vista' and the 'Primo Theatro', a meeting place. Air conditioning is available throughout the ship (individually controlled in the cabins). A small whirlpool, sun loungers, and comfortable seating areas are available on the open deck. The wellness area offers a large indoor whirlpool, a Kneipp footbath, and a sauna. Healing and beauty massages are available upon reservation.
