Day 1: Arrival in Constance

You start your cycle tour in Constance, the largest city on Lake Constance. 600 years ago it was the scene of a church council and the only papal election north of the Alps. The Rhine flows out of Lake Constance here and marks kilometer 0 on its way to the North Sea. A few minutes' walk from the medieval old town is the Swiss town of Kreuzlingen with a lively harbour.

Day 2: Constance - Stein am Rhein / Schaffhausen region, approx. 30 - 50 km

In picturesque Gottlieben you cross the border and on the Swiss side you arrive in the beautiful town of Stein am Rhein. The charm of this medieval town will immediately captivate you. Take your time to visit the Lindwurm Museum.

Day 3: Region Stein am Rhein / Schaffhausen - Rhine Falls Region Stein am Rhein /Schaffhausen, approx. 15 - 35 km

Immerse yourself in the magic of the Munot city of Schaffhausen today. Don't miss the impressive natural phenomenon of the Rhine Falls. At 23 meters high and 150 meters wide, it is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe.

Day 4: Stein am Rhein region/Schaffhausen - Radolfzell, approx. 35 - 45 km

The "Höri" peninsula is located between Stein am Rhein and Radolfzell and numerous artists such as Otto Dix, Hermann Hesse and Helmuth Macke have also given it the name artist landscape.

Day 5: Radolfzell - Überlingen/Meersburg region, approx. 30 km

The Gothic Minster of St. Nicholas awaits you in Überlingen. Uhldingen is surrounded by vineyards, meadows and forests. The World Heritage Site "Pile Dwellings", the Birnau Basilica and the reptile house are waiting for you to be explored today.

Day 6: Überlingen/Meersburg region - Friedrichshafen region, approx. 20 - 40 km

On your way today lies the medieval town of Meersburg, situated on the shores of Lake Constance and the picturesque vineyards. The "Meersburg" rises high above Lake Constance. Always along Lake Constance you reach the zeppelin city of Friedrichshafen.

Day 7: Friedrichshafen region - Bregenz, approx. 30 - 35 km

Immediately after Friedrichshafen you will come across Eriskirch on your way. Stroll through the old town of Lindau, which is located on an island, and marvel at the lighthouses of the Löwenmole, Lindau's landmark. Bregenz, world-famous for its Lake Festival, is in a unique location between Lake Constance and Pfänder.

Day 8: Bregenz - Pfänder - Bregenz

A unique panoramic view of the entire Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks awaits you on the 1064 m high Pfänder, Bregenz's local mountain. We recommend a tour to the most beautiful vantage points.

Day 9: Bregenz - Swiss shore, approx. 20 - 45 km

The Swiss shore of the lake awaits with dreamy lakeside towns such as Rorschach, Arbon and Romanshorn. The Kornhaus from the 18th century, the landmark of the port town of Rorschach, can be seen from afar.

Day 10: Swiss shore - Constance, approx. 20 - 35 km

A very scenic route takes you past orchards and farmsteads back to Constance. The unique location, an extensive old town with winding streets and the magnificent cathedral invite you to explore and linger.

Day 11: Constance Mainau Island Reichenau Island Constance, approx. 15 / 30 / 45 km

Attractive destinations are waiting to be explored by you today.

Bike tour to the flower island of Mainau, approx. 15 km: The large park is one of the most beautiful in Europe and is always worth a visit. Hundreds of thousands of tulips bloom in March and April, followed by roses in summer and the most beautiful dahlias in autumn.

Bike tour to the island of Reichenau, approx. 30 km: The famous World Heritage island of Reichenau is located in the middle of western Lake Constance. An island for the soul! Of course you can also visit both islands in one day, approx. 45 km.
