Day 1: Arrival in Regensburg
Individual arrival in Regensburg. Visit the important monuments of the historic old town (UNESCO World Heritage Site), such as the Stone Bridge, the oldest bridge in Germany. Another landmark is the imposing cathedral, the construction of which began as early as the 8th century.

Day 2: Regensburg – Straubing, approx. 55 km
Via the Nibelungenbrücke and the Walhalla-Allee you reach the signposted cycle route "Tour de Baroque" and cycle to Donaustauf. Visible from afar, the famous Walhalla, the "Temple of German Honour", towers over the Danube valley. You cycle further on the Danube dam to Straubing, known for its baroque town houses and the picturesque town square. The annual Gäubodenfest is also very popular (overnight stays from 13.08. to 23.08. therefore possibly in Wörth; Regensburg - Wörth approx. 31 km, Wörth - Deggendorf approx. 59 km).

Day 3: Straubing – Deggendorf, approx. 40 km
Via Oberalteich you reach the town of Bogen, embedded between the Bogenberg and the Danube, it is the gateway to the Bavarian Forest. The path continues to Metten, where the monastery of the same name is definitely worth a detour. Today's overnight stay is Deggendorf. In addition to the town hall with its mighty Gothic tower, the two large town parish churches of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre are among the town's landmarks.

Day 4: Deggendorf - Passau, approx. 60 km
Today you follow the “Tour de Baroque” again. Via Niederalteich you reach the small village of Winzer and then Vilshofen. Cycle on the left side of the Danube to the Kachlet hydroelectric power station. After crossing the Danube you reach the historic three-river city of Passau. The city has a lot to offer: the cathedral with the largest church organ in the world, numerous churches and museums, the Veste Oberhaus, a three-river tour on the Danube, Inn and Ilz and much more
