Mountain ranges with fabulous views of the Rhine, vineyards as far as the eye can see, countless castles and palaces, enchanting half-timbered houses: you will discover all this and so much more on your hiking week between Mainz and Koblenz. The Rheingau with its idyllic vineyards and many ostrich inns invites you to taste the wonderful Riesling. In the UNESCO World Heritage region of Mittelrheingau you can walk along the stately hilltop castles lined up on rocky outcrops in the footsteps of real Rhine romanticism, which already inspired Heinrich Heine to write his Loreley song. Incredible scenic beauty and culture - it's not for nothing that the Rheinsteig was voted Germany's most beautiful hiking trail. Simply hiking at a high level, in the truest sense of the word!
