Hike from the seaside resorts to the Königsstuhl

Anyone who has always wanted to hike on Rügen and would like to explore the beauty of the island from the seaside resorts will get their money's worth here. Once while hiking along the beaches and cliffs of the Granitz and on the hiking trail from Sassnitz up to the Königsstuhl. Hike the island's most famous stretch of coast on foot over the chalk cliffs.

Overnight place: Binz

Explore a piece of the Granitz today. Hike on romantic steep bank paths through the Granitz and through the forest area to the hunting lodge (entrance included). Magnificent views over the island and the Baltic Sea are the highlight of this hike.

Overnight place: Like the day before in Binz

From the pier you hike once and the Binzer Haussee, the Schmachter See. You will immerse yourself in the Binz hinterland. You have the opportunity to visit Karl's adventure village in Zirkow (on your own) or to take a less spectacular and much more contemplative break in one of the quiet garden cafes.

Overnight place: Like the day before in Binz

You can choose to hike on the beach or above the beach along the Prora Bay past the former KdF holiday pool. A treetop path invites you to visit along the way (entrance fee included). Your daily destination, the port town of Sassnitz with the backdrop of the chalk coast, is always in view.

Overnight place: Sassnitz

A dream of a hike awaits you today. You hike through the Jasmund National Park over the heights of the cliffs to the Königsstuhl. You can enjoy wonderful sightlines directly over the sea or along the chalk coast through the forest, which is mostly made up of beech trees. By bus or train (under your own direction) back to Sassnitz.

Overnight place: Like the day before in Sassnitz

After breakfast, return to Binz by train, bus or boat on your own. Travel home on your own or extended.
