Experience the historic old town with its picturesque alleyways or stroll along the harbor with southern flair in front of a breathtaking lake and Alpine backdrop.
Overnight place: Konstanz
You cycle along the Untersee to Stein am Rhein, where Lake Constance becomes the Rhine. The town is famous for its well-preserved old town and the facade paintings. The Benedictine Abbey is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in Switzerland. Your path leads you via Radolfzell, embedded in nature reserves, to the next highlight. Via the poplar-lined dam you reach the famous World Heritage island of Reichenau in the Untersee.
Overnight place: Like the day before in Konstanz
The first highlight is the island Mainau – a natural experience in every season. Enjoy the beauties of nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. In Wallhausen you take the ferry (on your own) to Überlingen. Visit the pile dwelling museum in Unteruhldingen. The sea route takes you to Meersburg, one of the most beautiful towns on Lake Constance, and to the Zeppelin town of Friedrichshafen. In Lindau, visit the old town and the lighthouses with the Lion Mole. In Bregenz you should stroll through the old town and take the cable car up to the 1064 m high Pfände to enjoy the unique view of Lake Constance.

You reach Switzerland through the Rhine delta. On the southern shore of Lake Constance, the landscape of Thurgau spreads out on gentle hills, a corner of paradise. Small villages and orchards are your companions today. Cider and wine presses offer unusual droplets and farm and monastery shops surprise with delicious temptations. Extensive views over the water and the mountains, close enough to touch, accompany you to Constance.
