Individual arrival to Konstanz. Take the opportunity to discover the numerous sights of the council city. Visit the Flower Island Mainau, the monastery island of Reichenau or the Sea Life Center or the Rose Garden Museum, where the cafeteria in the inner courtyard invites you to linger.

The first highlight of today is the Flower Island Mainau - a natural experience in every season. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature before your journey takes you to Wallhausen. With the ferry (under your own control) you cross Lake Überlingen to Überlingen. We recommend a detour to the Birnau monastery church and the pile dwelling museum in Unteruhldingen.
Overnight place: Friedrichshafen
Today you reach the Bodensee metropolis Lindau, the border triangle between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Visit the old town and the lighthouses with the Löwenmole, Lindau's landmark. You will then reach the cultural stronghold of Bregenz. Stroll through the old town or take the cable car to the 1064 m high Pfänder and enjoy the unique view of Lake Constance. You reach Höchst through the nature reserve of the Rhine delta, the largest freshwater delta in Europe.
Overnight place: Bregenz/Maximum
You cycle through the Rhine Delta to Switzerland. In terms of landscape, the canton of Thurgau offers a wealth of variety with its small villages and huge orchards. A fantastic view of Lake Constance and the impressive foothills of the Alps accompanies you all the way to Konstanz. You can shorten the route by 21 km by taking a train from Romanshorn to Konstanz (on your own).
