Individual arrival to the university town of Konstanz. You have enough time to explore the city with its numerous sights. You can end the evening either with a stylish dinner in one of the many restaurants or with a beer in one of the lively pubs.
Overnight place: Konstanz
First you cycle over a poplar-lined dam to the island of Reichenau. Then we go to Bicycleolfzell, where winding streets with beautiful aristocratic and patrician houses can be admired. You continue on small paths around the Höri peninsula to Stein am Rhein. With its city gates and colorful frescoed houses, Stein am Rhein is one of the best-preserved small medieval towns in Switzerland. Visit the Lindwurm Museum before heading to Gailingen - the pearl of the High Rhine.
Overnight place: Stein am Rhein region
You reach Ermatingen through picturesque fishing villages. Take your time here and visit the Vinorama Museum. Further along the way you cycle to Konstanz. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate while strolling through the winding streets of the old town. You can find the Middle Ages alive in the Rosgarten Museum, where you can relax in the cafeteria in the inner courtyard.
Overnight place: Konstanz
The first highlight of today is the flower island of Mainau - a natural experience in every season. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature before your path takes you over the Bodanrück to Bodman with the castle park, which is worth seeing. You cycle past the baroque Birnau monastery church to Uhldingen, which is known for its pile dwellings. In Meersburg you take the ferry (on your own) to Konstanz. If you don't want to cycle the slightly hillier stage between Wallhausen and Bodman, we recommend taking the ferry from Wallhausen to Überlingen (on your own). You then shorten the stage to around 25 km.
