Around Venice

From Vicenza head towards Marostica, famous for its castle and the stone chessboard in the main square. Then you reach Bassano del Grappa with its covered wooden bridge and the famous Grappa.

The only real climb on the tour takes you to Asolo. The downhill part of the trail takes you into the Prosecco vineyards and on to Maser and Treviso.

You leave Treviso and follow the river Sile to Casale. Venice awaits you at the end of the tour. Discover a labyrinth of alleyways and canals. The property is located in Mestre.

Today you have the opportunity to spend your day in Venice and discover its infinite beauty, which has been admired since the times of the Serenissima Republic. Or you decide to take a bike tour (approx. 65 km) on the two islands that separate the sea from the lagoon. Lido with Malamocco, ancient center of the Serenissima, and Pellestrina with the “Murazzi”, the stone dams that once protected Venice from floods, are waiting for you. If you have time, you can also take the motor ship from Pellestrina and visit Chioggia.

Along the Brenta River you will pass some of the most famous villas of the Venetian nobility (Villa Pisani, Villa Malcontenta, Villa Widmann) until you reach Stra. Along the Piovego canal you reach the university city of Padua, rich in art and history. Enjoy the old town before a relaxing evening in the largest spa area in Europe awaits you.

From the Euganean Hills you will cycle along the Bacchiglione river, which will take you back to Vicenza. Before reaching the city, along the bike path you can admire the Palladian masterpiece, Villa La Rotonda. Finally, let yourself be enchanted by the old town of Vicenza with its beautiful private palaces and the Palladian Basilica.
