You leave Eckernförde and hike to Gut Friedensthal, a stud farm with Arabian horses. Further along the way, a moorland landscape awaits you on the edge of the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. They move into quarters on or north of the Bistensee.
Overnight place: Hütten Mountains
Today's stage takes you through the Hüttener mountains over 110 m above sea level down to Schleswig. At Fahrdorf you reach the Schlei. You walk along the shore paths into Schleswig.

Hike to Lindaunis on an old railway embankment, country and hiking trails to the Schlei Nature Park. On the way, the Schlei comes into view, sometimes directly on the shore, sometimes over fields and meadows. By bus on your own initiative from Lindaunis to Kappeln to your accommodation.

You start your first stage along the Schlei and hike to Arnis. In Arnis you cross the Schlei on your own and cross the land to the Schwansener See nature reserve, where you reach the Baltic coast. The final stage takes you along the coastal hiking trail to Damp.

The last stage is dedicated to the Baltic Sea coast with its beaches and cliffs. Enjoy the lapping of the waves and the sound of the wind in your ears on your hike along Eckernförde Bay.
