Your starting and ending point is the elegant Rattey Castle – surrounded by vineyards and amidst rural tranquility.
Every day of this tour is a new invitation to wonder: You cycle through tranquil nature reserves like Lake Galenbeck, along historic towns like Anklam and Swinemünde, and visit architectural gems – from manor houses to ancient castles. The route combines the continental expanse of Western Pomerania with the maritime breeze of the island. Usedom and their famous imperial spas.
Experience the perfect blend of exercise, culture and nature – on well-developed cycle paths, through quiet villages, along old avenues and past vast fields that stretch to the horizon.
Individual arrival throughout the day at the romantic Rattey Castle – nestled in a tranquil, hilly landscape with its own vineyards. This former 19th-century manor house is now a stylish hotel with historic charm. Enjoy your arrival day with a stroll through the castle park or a glass of wine on the terrace.

After breakfast, the first cycling stage begins: a scenic circular tour to the Galenbecker See nature reserve – one of the oldest protected areas in Germany. The lake and its surroundings offer a refuge for rare bird species and provide pure natural idyll. Along the way, you can expect quiet avenues, small villages, and sweeping views across the typical Western Pomeranian landscape.

Today we're heading directly north. The route leads through sparsely populated areas, past small villages, tree-lined avenues, and fields – ideal for a relaxed ride. The destination is the stylishly restored Liepen Manor, situated directly on the Peene River, one of Germany's most pristine rivers.

Today you'll cycle first to Jarmen with its view of the Peene River, then on through the small town of Gützkow with its Gothic church and the village of Quilow with its restored castle complex. The route then takes you through the rural village of Ziethen, along the edge of the Peene delta, to the Anklam Bridge and on across the island to Mellenthin Water Castle.

A highlight of the trip: the grand UsedomA round trip! From Mellenthin, the route leads via Benz to Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Swinemünde – with their piers, promenades and magnificent villas from the imperial era. The return route leads through the Achterland region with views of the Achterwasser lagoon.

Today you are leaving Usedom via the ferry at Karnin. Back on the mainland, you'll cycle through rural Western Pomerania, past small churches, tree-lined avenues and quiet fields, back to the starting point of your journey.
