On their own. Waren has developed over the years into one of the most popular vacation spots in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The old town above the city's beautiful harbor is attractive with its quiet corners and small alleys.
Overnight place: Waren (Müritz)/Klink
Before You Waren leave, you should visit the MÜRITZEUM (on your own initiative), which gives you an insight into the flora and fauna of the region. In the direction of the Müritz National Park, Federow is the first port of call to learn more about the Müritz National Park and the eagles that live in the nearby eyrie. On the further route there are various possibilities to get insights or views via observation towers.

Did you know that Mirow is the birthplace of Queen Charlotte of England? The city of Charlotte, North Carolina is named after her. You can watch ships at the Mirow lock and then cycle around the Müritz arm to the small Müritz. Along the west bank of the Müritz it goes via Röbel to Klink and back to Waren. Of course there are plenty of opportunities to stop for a swim. If you want to cheat on this stage, you can of course also do it yourself by boat Waren . go
