On this star tour you will discover medieval old towns, impressive mountain panoramas and idyllic lake landscapes. The starting point Lucerne attracts with the Lion Monument, the Rigi and the Chapel Bridge. However, the city has much more to offer. It is picturesquely situated on Lake Lucerne and forms the gateway to Central Switzerland, the hometown of Wilhelm Tell and the birthplace of the Swiss Confederation.

Day 2: Bike tour to Lake Lucerne, approx. 50 km + boat trip
On the morning of the first day of cycling, there will be a personal tour briefing and the bike will be handed over. The path of this tour first leads over a gentle chain of hills with wonderful views of Lake Lucerne and the nearby Rigi. The dreamy meadows and side streets almost make you forget how close the city of Lucerne is. Then walk past the Küssnacht beach promenade to Weggis, from where the boat will take you to Beckenried. The path leads along the lake to the Horw peninsula, which, with a view of Lucerne's local mountain - the Pilatus - forms a great conclusion to this tour.

Day 3: Bike tour through Central Switzerland, approx. 55 km
Start your tour through the neighboring town of Emmenbrücke. From there you can get to the ridge of the Brunauer Berg, where numerous farms and fields are located. Before you can throw the beautiful views of the nearby Emmental and the beautiful farmhouses, you first have to overcome the small inclines. The way back then leads past the Werthenstein monastery along the small Emme to Lucerne.

Day 4: Excursion to Sursee, approx. 60 km
Today's destination is the picturesque town of Sursee on Lake Sempach. The way there leads mostly on side roads through quiet forests and past fields and farms. From here there is also a fantastic view of the nearby Alpine peaks and Mount Pilatus. Sursee is the perfect place for a lunch break before heading home on narrow paths right next to Lake Sempach.

Day 5: Bike tour to Lake Zug, approx. 50 km + boat trip
The first part of the route takes you back to Küssnacht on Lake Lucerne. From here it is only a few kilometers to Lake Zug, which borders the back of Mount Rigi. The ship is already waiting for you in Immensee to take you to the city of Zug. From here along the lake shore to Rotkreuz, from where you follow a forest adventure trail back to Lucerne.

Day 6: Excursion to Heidegg Castle, approx. 60 km
Today's stage takes you past Emmenbrücke to Baldeggersee, which is home to over 300 species of plants. Picturesquely located on the shore of this lake is Heidegg Castle, which has a beautifully preserved park and cultural landscape. Those who wish can take a short tour of the rose garden before the bike takes you back to Lucerne for the last time.
