star walking Stralsund / Baltic coast

About the old one Rügendam with a view of the sound follows Rügen to the old ferry bank. Continue along the Hochuferweg, the Strelasund up to Bessin and on to Rambin. Here the hike over the dykes and the salt marshes near Rambin can be extended. The destination is Rambin, where you can fortify yourself in the Pommernkate before returning by train (on your own) or enjoy one of the beer specialties brewed there in the Insel brewery.

Overnight place: As in the day before Stralsund

With the public transport bus (own management) to Groß Mohrdorf. Circular hike via Kinnbackenhagen to the Bodden coast. Across dykes and meadows you hike directly along the Bodden to Barhöft, back to Klausdorf or from Hohendorf to Groß Mohrdorf. In Groß Mohrdorf, the crane center (Kranorama) provides information about the magnificent migratory birds that stop in the region year after year on their migrations in spring and autumn. A bird observation house in Kinnbackenhagen and another information point near Barhöft provide insights into the local bird world. Bus ride back to Stralsund (on their own).

After a hearty breakfast, you will walk to the port and take the ship from Stralsund to Hiddensee (incl.). Get off in the south of the island, in Neuendorf. Equipped with a special hiking map and our detailed tour description, your path leads through the heathland in the south of the island to the more than 60 m high Dornbusch in the north. Always hearing the sound of the Baltic Sea, hike through the beauty and nature of this small Baltic Sea island. By ship from the monastery back to Stralsund (Incl.).

After breakfast we take the regional train (operated) to Sassnitz. On one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany, you hike over the cliffs of the chalk coast 50-100 m above sea level and enjoy the wide view over the Baltic Sea in ever new variations. Entrance and visit to the National Park Museum (on your own) as well as a beautiful view of the Königsstuhl are included in the hike. By train (under your own direction) back to Stralsund.

By train (under your own direction) to Binz to the starting point of your hike. Your path leads along the Binz Promenade out of the seaside resort to the Pirate Gorge and through the wooded Granitz to the hunting lodge. From the tower of the castle you can enjoy the wide view over the island, where you can see the Mönchgut, the Greifswalder Bodden, the main island with mountains, the Jasmund with its chalk coast and the silhouette in the distance to the west Stralsunds see. Your path continues to the coast of Stresow Bay, on whose banks you reach Putbus along the edge of meadows and farmland. By train (under your own direction) back to Stralsund.
