Along the French canal systemems Cycle to the interesting, octagonal fortress town of Neuf-Brisach. You pass the Rhine bridge and are now in Breisgau. Today you will experience the full diversity of the Alsatian Wine Route. In the wine villages of Ribeauvillé, Hunawhir, Riquewihr and Kaysersberg, time seems to have stood still since the Middle Ages. In Riquewihr, visit the Thieves' Tower Museum with the torture chamber, guard room and winemaker's house. The 25 m high Dolder, the city's landmark with the Dolder Museum, also offers you a wide view over the city.

Visit the listed old town with its medieval half-timbered buildings, canals and flowery city center. The cobbled streets lead you to the picturesque “Little Venice” district. A must for culture lovers is a visit to the Unterlinden Museum with the world-famous masterpiece “Isenheim Altar”.

Today the route takes you amidst the vineyards via Turckheim to Günsbach. Visit the spirit of the "Grand Doctor", as Albert Schweitzer was called by his patients, at the Albert Schweitzer Museum (incl.) before arriving in enchanting Munster. After a wine snack, you cycle to Eguisheim. Stroll through the fortified town with its picturesque streets and half-timbered houses decorated with flowers before cycling back to Colmar.
