As a former border river between Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania, the Recknitz flows leisurely through the coast to Ribnitz-Damgarten and flows into the Baltic Sea in the Saaler Bodden. Your hotel is located in the small village of Marlow, less than 20 km from the Baltic Sea. From there you can take your 3 bike tours through the Recknitztal to the brine and mud baths in Bad Sülze. Then explore the rural surroundings of the lower Recknitz Valley. A tour takes you to the amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten and to Dierhagen on the Baltic Sea.

Your accommodation is the 4**** hotel with its own brewery and restaurant. Parking at the hotel under your own management. Transfer from Ribnitz train station to the hotel on your own.

Not far from your hotel is the Marlow Bird Park, which can be reached and visited on foot.

Along the Recknitzwiesen it goes to Bad Sülze. Bad Sülze is the oldest brine and mud bath in northern Germany. A special experience is the dalia blossom in the spa park, which can last from July to October. Continue to Költzow, where the country park of the country house Schloß Kölzow is worth seeing. About the Brunstorfer forest past the bird park, it goes back to Marlow.

On today's round trip you will explore the landscape east of the Recknitz Valley. You cycle to Schlemmin Schlemmin Castle was built in 1846 - 1850 on the foundations of a moated castle from the 14th century. The builder, squire Wilhelm Ulrich von Thun, hired the architect Eduard Knoblauch from Berlin for this purpose. The chateau has a 200000 m² public park with over 50 different types of trees, including 700 hundred-year-old oaks. Via Semlow back to Marlow.

Overnight place: Marlow

The trip goes through the Recknitz Valley to the amber town of Ribnitz and further along the Ribnitzer Bodden to the Baltic Sea resort of Dierhagen. The amber museum and open-air museum in Klockenhagen look forward to your visit (not incl.). The journey takes you back to Marlow through the coast.
