Individual arrival and check-in for five nights. For an initial stroll, the Lower Market, Upper Market, St. Peter's Church, and the Old Town Bridge over the Neisse River are recommended.

Overnight stay in Görlitz

The train will take you to Zittau (at your own expense). From there, follow the mostly flat path Oder-Neiße-Cycle path downstream to Görlitz. The route runs mainly through the Neisse floodplains and has only slight inclines. Sights along the way include the historic center of Zittau, St. Marienthal Monastery near Ostritz, and Lake Berzdorf.

From Görlitz the Oder-NeißeThe cycle path heads north through tranquil floodplains and small villages along the Neisse River. Possible stops include the Kulturinsel (Culture Island) near Zentendorf, the banks of the Neisse near Deschka, and the charming old town of Rothenburg. Returning from Horka by train is possible on your own. If you wish to cycle back to Görlitz, turn onto the Froschradweg (Frog Cycle Path) shortly before Rothenburg and cycle back to Görlitz via Niesky.

Overnight stay in Görlitz

Today's stage leads through hilly countryside along the "Saxon Towns Route" to Löbau. The historic old market square, the town hall, and St. Nicholas Church are all worth seeing. A climb up Löbau Hill is highly recommended. The fantastic view from the cast-iron King Frederick Augustus Tower (entrance fee required) is well worth the effort. Return to Görlitz by train (at your own expense) is possible. The cycle tour to Görlitz passes through small villages in the hilly Upper Lusatia region.

Overnight stay in Görlitz

The train (at your own expense) will take you to Löbau. From there, you'll cycle through picturesque villages with typical half-timbered houses to Neugersdorf and Ebersbach. The Spree River has three well-known springs in this area: the highest at Kottmar, the most abundant in Neugersdorf, and the particularly beautiful Spreeborn spring in Ebersbach. Continue along the Spree Cycle Path towards Schirgiswalde and back to Löbau. Train journey to Görlitz at your own expense.

Individual departures after breakfast. For those departing later, a short tour of Zgorzelec on the Polish side of the Neisse River is recommended.
