Starting from the Pückler Park in Bad Muskau, you first cycle to the Rhododendron Park in Kromlau, one of the largest parks in Saxony. The park shows its full splendor especially during the flowering period in May. The cycle path then takes you to the boulder park in Nochten. 7000 Scandinavian boulders in seven picturesque garden worlds will inspire you. The imposing plant of the Boxberg lignite power plant is then circumnavigated before you can refresh yourself in the Halbendorfer See and learn interesting facts about the Sorbs in a loop.

After breakfast by bike or the nostalgic forest railway to Weißwasser and then by train to Görlitz (on your own). The easternmost city in Germany has a well-preserved old town from a wide variety of stylistic eras, which is why it is also a popular Filmfilm location and is nicknamed "Görliwood". One of the most striking buildings is the town hall with its staircase and town hall tower. From the valley of the Neisse it goes on the Oder-Neiße-Cycle path along typical heathland villages to the Muskau Heath. Zodel, Rothenburg and the cultural island of Einsiedel offer attractions along the way.

Auf dem Oder-NeißeCycle path to Zelz and cross the border to Poland on the Neisse bridge, which was newly built in 2008. Along the old railway line Lubsko (Sommerfeld) - Tuplice (Teuplitz) - Muskau, it goes car-free through the Polish border region. South of Nowe Caple (Neu Tschöpeln), a "detour" to the former mining area of the "Babina" pit with geopath and observation tower is worthwhile. Finally, we recommend exploring Muskauer Park on the Polish side and trying delicious Polish cuisine in the village of Leknica (Lugknitz).

The first destination of today's stage is the castle of Klein Loitz. The Romy Schneider Museum has been there since 2020, giving you an exciting insight into the life of the well-known actress. Afterwards the writer Erwin Strittmatter awaits you in his "shop" in Bohsdorf, the setting of the well-known novel triology. The charming landscape is characterized by the Muskau Arch, which has UNESCO status as a Global Geopark. There is an information center in Jerischke before you return to the Neisse via the Fürst Pückler cycle path.
