On your own to the “Hotel am Jungfernstieg”. From the hotel it is about 10 minutes to the old town and its sights such as Marienkirche, OZEANEUM, Rathaus, Alter Markt etc.

Overnight place: Stralsund

Round trip through the scenically flat southwest of the island Rügen past the salt marshes near Rambin to the quiet Kubitzer Bodden.

In the morning by ship (incl.) to Hiddensee. Your bike ride takes you through the heathland of Neuendorf via Vitte to Kloster. From the Dornbusch you can see the whole island. You spend the afternoon on the island and then return by boat (incl.). Stralsund.

In the morning by train (excl.) to Sassnitz. Continue through the Jasmund National Park to the chalk cliffs. Enjoy the unique view of the Baltic Sea from the Königsstuhl and discover the history of its origins Rügens in the National Park Center
(on their own). The journey continues via Mukran and Prora to the Baltic Sea resort of Binz.
In the afternoon you can take a relaxed train (excl.) back to Stralsund.

A wonderful coastal tour awaits you today. Follow the cycle path along the Strelasund up to Barhöft on the edge of the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft. Enjoy the view over the Bodden from the steep bank or the observation tower (on your own) to the Baltic Sea and the island of Hiddensee and then cycle along the Bodden coast in the direction of Barth to Groß Mohrdorf, where you can find out all about cranes in the crane information center back to Stralsund.

Was our first tour, but not the last, with a Mecklenburg bike tour

Everything played along, weather, wind, tour length and landscape. The railways must become considerably more punctual and reliable. Staff at the hotel reception should be familiar with the bus and train timetables and also know about the Störtebeker Festival. Later there was someone who knew at reception who was able to answer our questions.
