Welcome to the Baltic coast! Today you are traveling independently to Swinemünde – the ideal starting point for your upcoming cycling tours on Usedom and Wolin. Depending on your arrival time, a stroll along the promenade or a walk to the fine sandy beach is a great option. Feel the fresh sea breeze, enjoy the sunset, or try freshly caught fish in one of the waterfront restaurants.
Overnight stay: Swinemünde
This culturally and historically focused tour follows in the footsteps of the German-American painter Lyonel Feininger, who created numerous motifs between 1908 and 1921. Usedom Discovered. From Swinemünde, you cycle through the coastal woodland towards Ahlbeck, via Heringsdorf to Benz – a picturesque village with a church and mill, which Feininger often painted. Small information panels along the way tell of the places where he lived. The return journey takes you via Korswandt and Garz with expansive views over the Thurbruch moorland.

This delightful tour combines nature and architecture. You'll follow the promenade along the famous seaside resorts of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin – with their piers, magnificent villas, and well-maintained beach promenades. The route continues through rolling, wooded hills to the romantically situated Schmollensee lake, a perfect spot for a rest. From there, the path leads back to Świnoujście via Sellin and Korswandt.

A day trip to the unspoiled neighboring island of Wolin. You'll cross the Swine River by ferry and cycle through dense forests and quiet villages to Mistroy. This route takes you through Wolin National Park with its shady paths, birdwatching stations, and lakes. A stop at a small fish restaurant overlooking the Szczecin Lagoon is highly recommended. The return journey follows an alternative route with a detour to the turquoise lake near Wapnica.

In the morning, you'll start with a short train ride from Świnoujście to Wolin Town. From there, your cycling tour begins, winding through rolling hills, past lakes and dense forests. You'll discover charming little villages and enjoy sweeping views of the Szczecin Lagoon. The return journey is by bike via Międzyzdroje or an alternative route through the national park, before you arrive back in Świnoujście.

After four varied days of cycling, it's time to say goodbye to the Baltic Sea. You'll begin your individual journey home – or extend your stay to enjoy a little more coastal air. Swinemünde is also a wonderful place to spend a few more days relaxing.
