On the tour you will experience the quiet corners of the land of a thousand lakes. From the largest German inland lake, the Müritz, you cycle along other idyllic lakes and through small historic towns in a slightly hilly and fascinating landscape.

On their own. In Waren/Müritz between the harbor and the old town there are nice cafés, restaurants and shops vying for your favor.
Overnight place: Waren (Müritz)/Klink
Your first stage takes you through the Müritz National Park. Today you cycle through the Müritz National Park to Boek, cross the Havel at the Useriner See and reach Neustrelitz, on the shore of the Zierker See. On the first stage, the Müritz National Park offers an opportunity to gain an insight into the natural treasures of the region. Here you can enjoy the panoramic view of the landscape from observation towers. Further along the way, one or the other small bathing lake awaits you, also in the middle of the forest. The baroque residential town of Neustrelitz welcomes you in the midst of the Mecklenburg lake landscape. Did you know that the later Queen Louise of Prussia was born a Princess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz?

In Fürstensee, not far from Alt-Strelitz, there is a wonderful bathing area in the village with a jetty and a small sandy beach. We continue to the eastern part of the Müritz National Park, the Serrahn. You cycle through the Serrahn to the Holy Halls, an ancient beech stand, to Feldberg with its lakes, the Haussee, the wide and narrow Luzin.
Overnight place: Feldberg or the surrounding area
Lonely landscapes, natural beech forests and lakes give the cycle route its appeal. Your journey takes you through the Feldberg-Lychener Seenlandschaft nature park to Brandenburg. The town of Lychen is surrounded by five lakes and its town center is like an island.
Overnight place: Lychen or Fürstenberg or surrounding area (*Overnight stay only possible in hotel category 1)
From Lychen you cycle via Himmelpfort to Fürstenberg. Through a beautiful forest area then to the legendary Stechlin. Further on the way to Rheinsberg. Rheinsberg with its castle is reminiscent of the writer Kurt Tucholsky and the time when Frederick the Great spent his youth in Rheinsberg.
Overnight place: Rheinsberg or the surrounding area
Many lakes and dense forests characterize this stage. You are welcome to take a break and paddle (on your own) across the lakes.
Overnight place: Mirow or Röbel or surroundings
Today's stage leads to the south bank of the Müritz and along its western bank up to Röbel via Klink Waren/Müritz. Experienced cyclists can visit the largest rock barn in northern Germany by making a detour to Bollewick before Röbel. On the way there are always beautiful bathing spots that invite you to stop and take a bath break on the green beach of the Müritz. If you want, you can take the tour by boat from Röbel or Klink on your own Waren shorten.

After breakfast it's time to say goodbye (on your own) or to extend your stay.
