Accompanied by grape vines, you roll through the Ruwertal Mosel towards where the old Schweich ferry tower welcomes you. Marvel at the small wine town of Mehring with the famous Villa Rustica, a ruin that was a magnificent country house in Roman times. Stroll through Mehring
with its lovingly designed "Moselalleys” and don’t be afraid to open the vine-covered gates of the wineries. This day's stage ends in Neumagen-Dhron, the oldest wine town in Germany, or in the small wine town of Piesport with its nice cafes, ostrich taverns and wine bars. There you can convince yourself of the good quality of the Piesporter Goldtröpfchen.

Today you stroll across the beautiful market square of Bernkastel-Kues. In the famous wine museum you will learn everything about working in the vineyard, growing wine on steep slopes, the different grape varieties, wine storage and of course wine culture. Right on MoselYou cycle to Zeltingen with the world-famous vineyards Zeltinger Himmelreich, Schlossberg, Sonnenuhr and Deutschherrenberg and then through the Kröver Nakedarsch wine-growing region to your winery in Burg or Reil near Traben-Trarbach.
Overnight place: Reil / Castle
In the morning you roll through the wine-growing region of Zeller Schwarze Katz to Bullay. Be amazed
the bridge that is unique in Germany and connects Bullay with Alf. The steel structure spans
that Mosel double-decker: above for the railway and below for the road. Discover
the romantic town of Beilstein with its nickname “Rothenburg an der Mosel“, stroll through the picturesque center of Cochem, visit the old imperial castle from the 11th century or visit the Rieslingstub'n. Between historic winemaking equipment or in the vine-covered courtyard, you can enjoy the delicately fruity Riesling from the world-famous slate slopes around Cochem. Finally you reach the pretty wine town of Pomerania and your winery, where you spend the night.

Today, a detour (4 km) to the medieval Eltz Castle, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved castles in Germany, is wonderfully romantic and nestled in unspoilt nature. Take an informative castle tour. Then cycle back to Mosel- Cycle path and roll to the historic wine town of Kobern-Gondorf. Visit a terraced winery with its steep, rocky slopes, most of which can only be cultivated by hand. Riesling and Pinot Noir grapes mainly grow on these steep slopes. Find out more about his work and products directly from the winemaker. Take a short detour through the wine town of Winningen, which is one of the most beautiful villages in Germany, and look forward to a lovely end to the day in Koblenz, the city on the German Corner.

Your varied cycling holiday ends after breakfast. By train you have very good connections in all directions from Koblenz main station.
