Your first cycling stage takes you to the Ammersee. Passing the Andechs monastery you reach Lake Starnberg. If you want, you can cycle directly to Lake Starnberg (approx. 35 km).
Overnight place: starnberger Lake
You cycle along the east side of Lake Starnberg to Seeshaupt. Shortly beforehand there is a nice swimming area where you can cool off in hot weather. We head to Lake Staffelsee with full enthusiasm.

In the morning we go to the largest moor area in Central Europe. You cycle past the moor spa in Bad Kohlgrub and then let yourself be enchanted by King Ludwig's fairytale castles.
Overnight place: Schwangau/Fussen
The view of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles accompanies you for a while on the way to Hopfen am See. Treat yourself to a break at one of the numerous lakes on the way to Nesselwang.

Today's route begins a bit hilly. These little efforts are more than compensated for by the beautiful Alpine panorama. The highlight of the day is the ride along the Great Alpsee to Oberstaufen.

Enjoy the lush green landscape of the Allgäu before you let your gaze wander over the lake from the shore of Lake Constance.
