This beautiful bike tour connects the two metropolises of Porto and Lisbon. Discover impressive cultural sites while cycling through lush nature and along beautiful coastal paths. The tour starts in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Porto, a world heritage city. Enjoy a port wine and other culinary delicacies. Discover Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal, with its canals and salt pans, the lively coastal town of Figueira da Foz, the house-high waves of Nazaré and much more. Full of impressions, you will reach Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, with its impressive old town and many sights right on the Tejo. A beautiful and very varied trip awaits you.

Stroll along the banks of the Douro and try a glass of the famous port wine today.

Overnight place: Porto

In the morning you cross the Douro, cycle along the port wine cellars and switch from the hustle and bustle of the city to the quiet Atlantic coast. You head south along fine sandy beaches and through vast pine forests. Your overnight accommodation is known for its hospitality and excellent fish. Enjoy yourself!

You will marvel at a lot of nature on today's stage. You will cycle through the lagoon of Aveiro and are surrounded by water. A ferry will then take you to Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal with its canals and the famous Moliceiros boats.

You cycle through the gently undulating dune landscape. Crickets chirp in the pine forest before the first cliffs appear before you. The road leads spectacularly towards the Cabo Mondego lighthouse and further to Figueira da Foz, a charming little town with many restaurants, decorated alleys, cozy cafes and of course a beautiful beach.

You continue cycling through the sand dunes before the spectacular cliffs at Sao Pedro de Moel will amaze you. In Nazaré, the world's highest waves attract particularly brave surfers. Things are more relaxed in Sao Martinho or Foz do Arelho. Both places are located in a protected bay with lots of small boats in the calm water.
