Are you longing for a hiking trip that leads through the magnificent nature of Austria and Germany, and through endless, idyllic landscapes? Then our long-distance hiking trip on the Lechweg trail is just right for you. Experience pure nature and hiking pleasure on the 125-kilometer-long Lechweg trail. The starting point of this cross-border hiking tour is at Lake Formarinsee in Lech am Arlberg. From there, the route leads first to Tyrol and finally to the Lechfall waterfall in the Allgäu region. After eight days in the fresh air, you'll return to everyday life full of energy.

Arrival in Lech am Arlberg during the afternoon. Lech is a municipality with 1569 inhabitants and the namesake village on the river of the same name in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. Like Ebnit, Damüls, and Mittelberg, it is one of the Walser villages of Vorarlberg. The municipality is an internationally renowned winter sports resort in the Arlberg region.
