Use the time you have and discover the Fischland-Darss on foot. Discover the picturesque coast of the peninsula. Hiking is good for the soul and at the same time you can feel the wind and smell the sea.
Arrival is at your own expense. Highlights of the city include the beautiful harbor island with the OZEANEUM, the Gorch Fock 1, the Old Market with the impressive town hall and the old town with its pretty Gothic gabled houses.

Train ride (on your own) from Stralsund to Ribnitz-Damgarten. At the beginning of your hike you should visit the amber museum in the former Clarisse monastery (on your own). In Klockenhagen it is worth visiting the open-air museum (on your own) before you reach the beach near Dierhagen.

Today you walk along the beach but also over the dyke to Wustrow or Ahrenshoop. From one of these places you can take the bus (on your own) to the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow.

You can choose to hike along the reed-covered Bodden shore via Born and then through the Darßwald to Prerow or along the beach and then back through the middle of the Darßwald.

The west beach is a real natural beach with a forest that extends to the edge of the dunes. The first row of trees are often wind evaders, trees bent by the wind. You walk along the wild lake beach to Darßer Ort with its lighthouse, then back to Prerow.

Over the dike it goes straight to Zingst and on many beautiful paths. You leave Zingst over the Meiningen Bridge and walk along the old railway line to Barth.

An organized transfer from Barth will take you from the hotel to Wendisch Langendorf. You hike a short distance along the Barther Bodden towards Barhöft. It's worth visiting the observation tower here (on your own). From Barhöft the path takes you via Klausdorf to Prohn. Your hike continues from Prohn Stralsund, where you have now reached your milestone. If you don't want to hike that day, you can take the train from Barth yourself Stralsund and have time for a museum visit in Stralsund.

Your hiking tour ends after breakfast. You will travel home on your own or with an extension.
