This route leads along the Weser in short stages. This gives you enough time to enjoy the beauties and beer gardens along the way and to visit the towns and villages extensively. This is pure relaxation!
After your individual arrival in Hann. Münden in the late afternoon the information meeting and the handover of the bikes (if booked). In the three-river city, Fulda and Werra unite at the Weserstein to form the Weser. Over 700 restored half-timbered houses from six centuries form Hann. Münden's old town. The town hall Hann. Mündens is considered one of the most beautiful representative buildings from the Weser Renaissance.

Your bike tour should start at the Weserstein. Exactly where Werra and Fulda "kiss". The stage leads to Gieselwerder via Hemeln and past the former Benedictine monastery in Bursfelde.

Today you cycle to the baroque Huguenot town of Bad Karlshafen. The center of Bad Karlshafen offers an interesting contrast to the usual half-timbered idyll with its neat, renovated houses in the baroque style.

There are numerous highlights along the way: the town of Fürstenberg with its porcelain factory and the old Hanseatic town of Höxter with more than 160 buildings worthy of monuments, mostly half-timbered houses.

Many a romantic village along the way invites you to linger. Corvey Castle, the former imperial abbey near Höxter, offers an attractive mixture of art and culture. The romantic town of Bodenwerder was made famous by the world famous Liar Baron von Münchhausen.

The Pied Piper town of Hameln impresses with an intact old town, wonderful half-timbered houses and buildings in the typical style of the Weser Renaissance from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The town of Rinteln from the 13th century offers numerous buildings from the Weser Renaissance.

At Porta Westfalica, the river breaks through the Wiehen and Weser Mountains and reaches the North German Plain. Minden was once a thriving trading town in the Middle Ages, but was severely damaged in World War II. It was rebuilt as part of an exemplary urban redevelopment.

Return transfer Minden - Hann. mouths: by minibus, reservation required. You can find more information in the "Prices" tab. We recommend that you use this transfer as a one-way transfer. Then your car will already be in Minden and you can drive home relaxed whenever you want.
