The Baltic coast offers a Numerous beautiful hiking trailsHere are some of the most beautiful hiking trails/hiking regions:

Rügen:

  • Jasmund National Park: Famous for its impressive chalk cliffs, most notably the Königsstuhl (King's Chair). The high cliff path from Sassnitz to Lohme (approx. 12,5 kilometers) offers spectacular views of the steep coast and leads through ancient beech forests.
  • Rügen Bodden Panorama Trail: This 24-kilometer trail runs along the coastal hinterland of the lagoon and offers a diverse landscape.

Fischland-Darß-Zingst:

  • Darß West Beach: A wild, natural beach that stretches right up to the dunes. Here you can hike along the beach and climb the Darß Lighthouse. There are also circular trails through the Darß Forest.

Lübeck Bay (Schleswig-Holstein):

  • Brodtener Steilufer: An impressive cliff coast between Travemünde and Niendorf. Here you can hike directly along the coast and experience the unspoiled North German coastal nature.
