Learn moreAt 55 meters, the Wapen fan Fryslân is the largest two-masted schooner in the Netherlands. First launched as a cargo ship in 1965, it typically sailed through the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, carrying a variety of cargo. In 2003, it began its complete transformation into a sailing passenger ship. Today, the ship offers its guests a wide range of leisure activities and envelops them in a pleasantly warm atmosphere of luxury. The Wapen fan Fryslân is owned and operated by Erik van Aken and offers the Wadden Sea tour.
On the lower deck, the Wapen fan Fryslân features twelve spacious two-person cabins (8,5 m²). Each cabin has two separate single beds that can be pushed together upon request. A third bed is permanently folded against the wall in each cabin should additional capacity be required. All cabins have a shower with toilet and sink. Each cabin is equipped with ventilation, heating, and two portholes, one of which can be opened. A mini safe is also provided in each cabin.
