Fuel surcharge for bike & boat trips
Due to increased fuel prices from our partners, a surcharge of up to 8% of the package tour price may be levied. The final amount will be communicated 20–30 days before departure . The surcharge is payable directly upon boarding the ship . This arrangement is governed by Article 10 of our General Terms and Conditions and Section 651f of the German Civil Code (BGB ).
Why can a fuel surcharge be levied?
Fuel prices for inland waterway transport have risen sharply due to international developments. In accordance with §651f of the German Civil Code (BGB) , our partner shipping companies may levy a fuel surcharge to ensure the trip's economic viability.
• Maximum amount: 8% of the package tour price
• Notification: 20–30 days before departure
• Payment: directly upon boarding the ship
