The main Weser Cycle Route follows the Weser River and offers a scenic ride through the region . Large sections of the main route are accessible by car and are ideal for cyclists who want to experience the natural beauty of the area . The alternative route is an additional option for cyclists and also runs along the Weser River. Paths for the alternative route exist on both sides of the Weser, allowing for flexible route selection . Both routes offer unique perspectives along the Weser and allow cyclists to discover the beauty of the region. The eight stages of the alternative route run through Butjadingen to Eckwarderhörne in the north.
